Only you

Why and how.

Sometimes the difficult part of a retouch is not the editing itself, but understanding what the client needs and how to achieve the best result.

Here are a series of examples of various kinds to help you understand the difference between Only You and Professional.
Let's get started!

Only you and Professional are two Pro features.

Only you

Focusing on one subject can be tricky. Only you allow to isolate a subject within a context so you have to make sure other elements don’t distract from them.

The backgroud must be the same, not another one, not the neutral one: the same, without distraction. Extra characters or details around the edges risk confusing people or splitting focus.

Professional

Professional is a service that aims to transform a regular photo into a professional photo suitable for a presentation.

There sultis achieved by removing the background and adding a uniform one with a slight  shadow. This operation can only be carried out if the shot allowsit. Any shadows, imperfection so run suitable clothing would negate the
desired effect.

What's wrong?

Using a completely solid color background in an “only you” is wrong: the background should not be entirely removed, but only distracting elements. Complete removal of the background should not occur even with a simple Pro: if the client does not choose any option, the entire background should not be removed; it’s better to blur it, straighten it out and why not remove some disturbing element (in addition to making basic corrections such as adjusting colors and skin retouching).

The background of a Professional must necessarily be neutral, there should be no distractions of any kind, too striking motifs or patterns. But the modification that really makes the difference is the outline. It must be done perfectly avoiding obtaining unpleasant effects, cut-outs like stickers or too sharp edges.
